According to the HBR statistics report, single family homes and condos have seen an increase in new listings for the year to date. New listings are up 11% for homes and up 21% for condos. The number of closed sales for condos does not show much change, however, for single family homes, the number of closed sales has increased 37% as of June 2012. In addition, single family homes are listed on the market for a shorter amount of time than the year prior. The average number of days a listing is on the market until the time it sales is down by 42%.
